Los Angeles Skills Academy CNA Training: Claremont

What is a CNA?
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) offers crucial assistance to patients with daily living activities and healthcare tasks, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). CNAs are also referred to as Nursing Assistants, Patient Care Assistants (PCAs), or Nurse’s Aides.
For many CNAs in Claremont, this role is an excellent stepping stone toward advancing their career, whether it's moving up to an LVN or RN position. A significant number of CNAs are already enrolled in nursing school and use this job to gain practical experience in the healthcare field. Others become CNAs to explore if healthcare is the right path for them before making further career decisions.
Becoming a Nurse Assistant is an opportunity to play an important part in today’s healthcare landscape, with skills that are consistently in demand. Our thorough program, shaped by the expertise of educators, caregivers, and long-term care professionals, is designed to help you start your journey as a CNA and launch your healthcare career.
